Validation is a casual “seat yourself” kinda place so we don’t take reservations in the traditional sense. Β If you’re looking to snag one of our communal tables for a small gathering however, we’re happy to be your honorary table vulture and throw a reserved sign on when a table clears up near your desired party time.
Saturday and holidays: all table vultures are busy helping out the masses, so no reserved signs on those days.
Absolutely! Β It’s brewed so close you can reach out and touch the tanks – but don’t! Β Our beer is local and so are the people behind the beer. Β The owners Brian & Briana have been in SB over 10 years and long dreamed of opening a brewery that is focused on our wonderful community. Β We look forward to seeing you at Validation HQ!

Kidding. Β We have hard Seltzer & Kombucha on draft as well as Santa Ynez white and red wine on tap from our friends at Star Pine (a Draghtsman Ale Works brand), and Margerum’s RosΓ©. Also available are plenty of canned alcohol and non-alcoholic options available.
Yes and Yes! Β We have 5 TVs and a monster video wall. Let us know what you want to watch and we will be happy to put it on.
PS: Come September we will be rocking NFL RedZone and Sunday Ticket
Same rules as humans. No peeing on the floor and don’t disrupt other’s experience.
Totally welcome! Ask our staff about current kid options on our menu. Unsupervised kids will be given a free puppy and train ticket.
Joking aside, we’re a working brewery so there is dangerous equipment around. Keep your littles close.
There is very limited parking in our lot, street parking, and a huge public parking lot nearby atΒ 1 Garden St, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
PS: Near the back of the lot is a passthrough into the Funk Zone.
We have vegetarian options and extremely limited gluten free menu for now but a larger menu is coming!
