Front of House Manager

The role:

We’re searching for a motivated and experienced Manager with history of exceptional customer service, management, work ethic, and trustworthiness. Primary job responsibility is to keep the Front of House running smoothly, while continuing our steady growth of sales. This role is a combination of serving the Front of House team with direction, coaching, scheduling, hiring, etc…, along with serving the business by maintaining growth; by finding and executing new opportunities.  

This position will hold managerial responsibilities and work directly with the company owner as one of the key individuals providing input on the direction of the business. 

 

The right person:

Passionate about expanding knowledge of craft beer & VA’s unique concept

Motivation and aptitude to learn business mechanics and economic drivers

Strong work ethic & positive attitude

Comfortable engaging with patrons and providing an inviting, inclusive, and approachable atmosphere 

Ability to work independently or in a team setting

Ability to be a leader on the floor in both attitude and actions – setting a great example for others

Ownership mentality. 

• An inclination to stay busy, clean, organize, execute 100%, even when no one is watching.

• A can-do problem solving mindset

Ability to take constructive criticism and learn/adapt from it
